Inspire

I have three things which seem to recur in my work, faces, birds and flowers. As the light get less and less each day and colder too I need the bright cheer of flowers more than ever, so here is a journal spread reflecting on how flowers inspire me to keep going even through the winter.  The full details are on the That's Craft blog.

Hallowe'en Tags

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Kaleidoscope

I recently found out that the term for a large number of butterflies is a Kaleidoscope, love that.  Anyway as you can see my make for That’s Crafty once again features a lot of butterflies indeed a whole Kaleidoscope of them.  The reason for this is that October is Lupus Awareness month and the butterfly is the symbol for Lupus (although I think it should be the wolf as that is what Lupus means) Anyhoo  as I was diagnosed with Lupus 4 years ago and been battling ever since to get my health under some sort of control I thought I would indulge a bit in butterflies this month, so beware there are likely to be more before the end of the month.  For full details of the make pop over to That’sCrafty Blog for a peek.  Thank you

Boy with a Smile

Once again That’s Crafty! have launched an amazing series of fab Dinky Stencils, great for Hallowe’en, Christmas and everyday crafting.  I love these, if you haven’t yet tried them I really encourage you to - all the Design Team are in love with them and have been playing with them like demented creatures since they arrived with us last week and they will be showing some fabulous work this week using them.  That’s Crafty! have also extended their range of board and acrylic shaped stamping surfaces , postcard, 8x8, Door Hangers just to name a few, again an absolute necessity in the stash.  I am so privileged to be the first to use them today and I have chosen 3 of the new Dinky Stencils and the 8 x 8 White Board to showcase.
